Project consisted of Streetprint Textured Asphalt for the entire length and width of the newly paved roadway. Because the bridge is the only means of access to and from the island we worked closely with the city to keep two lanes of traffic open throughout the entire installation process. The project consisted of two 5' wide bicycle / walkways on both sides, with the center area divided in two 13' travel lanes. The main body pattern chosen was Diagonal Herringbone Brick with the different areas divided up with a custom border 10” x 10”. The colors chosen seemed very bold and daring at first, but worked well together when the project was completed. The travel lanes were colored with Irish Crème and Gunmetal Grey. The bike lanes were colored with Sunset Blush while all the borders were colored in Terracotta. The center lines were done in Traffic Yellow for safety reasons. We were very proud to complete the project on time with no call backs / punch list. We are confident that the city will enjoy many years of maintenance free driving on their newly stamped and colored asphalt roadway. The project was a perfect fit for Streetprint Textured Asphalt due to it's budget friendly pricing and quick installation process as well as the very affordable long term maintenance costs.
